By now you are thumbing through those thick binders...getting clear about just exactly what you need to do to complete your practicums.
- the D's have drawn a picture/diagram of the possibilities for who to ask, what could happen...
- the A's have a short list of the facts...typed on a blank piece of paper
- the B's have already scheduled if not completed the tasks
- the C's are reconnecting with friends, colleagues, family...still deciding how to get everyone involved :-)
In the spirit of expanding my B quadrant thinking abilities, here is the blog I promised to start as to expand our community of practice beyond the certification class.
I have an assignment for us! Take a look at the following address (http://www.tailwindconsulting.com/). If you were going to give some whole brain advice to the person responsible for this website...what advice would you give? I can share that as a D ...the moment I saw an entire page of words...I let out a "ahhh!". It wasn't until I scrolled down that my D/C was soothed with a picture.
So...what do you guys think???

Hi Kathy and Team!
ReplyDeleteEven though I have a left-brain tilt, I believe the website content at the link you provided should be reversed with the picture (smaller version) at the top, with buttons and descriptions following. Even I did not want to read the text. Thanks for posting our blog! April
Yeah! A left-brainer says what the right-brainer was thinking!
ReplyDeleteHi folks!
ReplyDeleteWe at Tailwind will be following this discussion as it develops. April makes a great point about moving the photo to the top of the page--I can definitely see the logic to this. We continually look for new ways to improve our site and engage our visitors. Thanks for the feedback!
